In December 2020, CULTVR LAB welcomed Black Mantis for their album launch. 

Devil’s Flower by Black Mantis is a new project from South Wales based producer Deri Roberts, possibly best known for being one-third of Slowly Rolling Camera. This new album sees him delve into his darker electronic side fusing together his love for sound sculpture, electronica, and jazz, resulting in an exciting new ever-changing sound world. Deri began his musical career as a TV and Film composer and this influence is apparent in this new project as the music evokes powerful imagery throughout. In this image, you’ll see Black Mantis performing under the 360 dome in Cardiff’s newest immersive live music venue.
